At the time The Heathens were the works side of the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Company but were rapidly outgrowing their humble origins. This shirt was worn when the team won the Football Alliance in 1892, an achievement that helped them be elected to the Football League the following season.

Manufactured in the UK from 100% drill cotton, this historic shirt is hand-finished to the very highest standards and comes with a reproduction postcard showing the team wearing the original tops along with additional background information. The shirt comes in a special presentation box made from 100% recyclable materials.
